Our story

Two dresses, made slowly.

Sadan began with a simple frustration: everything modest was either shapeless or stiff. Nothing was made to be lived in.

So we started with the fabric. Then the fall. Then the way a sleeve moves when you reach for something. Two dresses so far — Razana and Alma — because we would rather make two pieces properly than twenty in a hurry.

Every order is packed the way we would pack it for someone close to us.

How they are made

Fabric first, always.

  • We start at the fabric

    Razana is a leafy cotton gabardine — light as paper in the hand, but heavy enough in the fall to hold a shape all day. Alma is a soft, breathable linen. Both are completely opaque. We checked that first, not last.

  • Then the fall

    How a skirt moves when you walk. How a sleeve behaves when you reach for something. Two dresses took us months, because that part cannot be rushed.

  • Then we pack it ourselves

    Every order is prepared the way we would prepare it for someone close to us. There is no warehouse. There is us.

Both dresses are cut wide and loose. They are not meant to be fitted, so if you are between two sizes, take the smaller one.

Alma sits comfortably above 100 kg — the wrap gives more room than the number suggests.
